چکیده

The temperature in the southwest Castel highland area is relatively low, and asphalt concrete on road surface a low-temperature state all year round. Strong ultraviolet radiation will interfere with material cause it to fracture damage. This paper uses bending test thermal stress constrained specimen (TSRST) performance of mixtures different gradation types under (UV) aging conditions. Existing studies are mainly based aging, which cannot take into account interactions between binder aggregate phases during aging. analyzes correlation indexes after UV mixture parameters, as well impact mixtures, mechanical strength prediction model was established. results indicate that when time less than 2 months, degradation rate first accelerates then gradually slows down. degree influence graded descending order: stone concrete, AC 16 AC-13 concrete. relationship parameters strong. It suggested appropriate equivalent outdoor months At point there no condition, worth acquired by prescribed consider attenuation coefficient, matrix can allude 0.84; modified has value 0.9. article great significance for guiding research high-altitude areas.

Influence of Waxes on Bitumen and Asphalt Concrete Mixture Performance

This doctoral thesis consists of a literature review, presented in two papers, and another six papers describing experimental studies of the influence of different kinds of wax and polyphosporic acid on bitumen and asphalt concrete mixture properties. The literature review should give an extensive description of the field of knowledge concerning wax in bitumen. Effects of wax in crude oil, bitu...

"Living high-training low": effect of moderate-altitude acclimatization with low-altitude training on performance.

The principal objective of this study was to test the hypothesis that acclimatization to moderate altitude (2,500 m) plus training at low altitude (1,250 m), "living high-training low," improves sea-level performance in well-trained runners more than an equivalent sea-level or altitude control. Thirty-nine competitive runners (27 men, 12 women) completed 1) a 2-wk lead-in phase, followed by 2) ...
